He has a passion for working closely with inventors and entrepreneurs of all skill levels. He prides himself on maintaining an open line of communication to ensure he’s accessible. Julian believes consistent, honest communication is the bedrock of exceptional client service.
Julian has built IP legal strategies for a breadth of clients, from individual inventors and small start-up companies, to Amazon sellers, to large established corporations. He specializes in IP protection, technology development, and global IP procurement; as well as trademark and copyright clearance, prosecution, and enforcement,
Prior to joining GPL, Julian was an in-house IP attorney for a digital health diagnostic company, where he developed and managed a domestic and global IP portfolio and worked on point-of-care diagnostics assay and platform technologies. Julian also has stellar experience in IP law surrounding a wide variety of technologies in the mechanical arts, electromechanical arts, and computer systems arts.
Julian earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Delaware, where he researched in-situ chemical sensors for environmental, biomedical, and industrial process monitoring. In 2015, he earned his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with an emphasis on intellectual property.
